Dottie’s First Ride!

Heather got on Dottie for the first time yesterday! She did spectacular. Heather rode for about an hour. We didn’t know how far we would get with her. I figured we would put the saddle on her and lunge her for a couple minutes and call it good for the day. We did that then decided she was unimpressed with what was going on so we moved to the next step. Heather put her weight up on her back and Dottie still seemed unimpressed. So, up on her back Heather went. Rode about an hour or so while I got a few pictures and then put her up. All in all, a great experience. I hope to be riding her myself by the end of summer. After I get some lessons from Heather on a more experienced horse.
