ModeratorThanks Donn, I wasn’t expecting to get paid at all, the forester just asked so they could have a check ready for when I get there. My motivation is all the that you mentioned above, so you are right. I will just go from mileage.

ModeratorAwesome, thanks a lot. That makes me feel a lot better, maybe in the next week or so I’ll be putting a load of hay on there.

ModeratorThanks for all the tips, ideas, and stories. I tried them all out and the one I tried last worked the best. It was George’s way, with all horses in right hand with a light switch in the left. I was most hesitant to try this because I lead steers this way and thought it would never work for horses. But the fastest horse on the off side was slower and calmer even without the switch on his nose. I did use it lightly sometimes though. Thanks again, you guys are the best.

ModeratorDoes Athens also make the wood splitter and 5 gal ice cream maker? Do you know the cost of those?

ModeratorIs the meeting next week Tuesday? I thought I missed it, since there wasn’t a date on Ed’s post, just a time.

ModeratorThe Small Farmer’s Journal is my favorite, it’s like Christmas when it comes in the mail. There is such good info in there and I like the way it’s layed out. Whenever I see the Draft Horse Journal, it seems like it is geared more toward the show horses.
