    They are my son’s and he new all about CPL. He said that work is good for it (exercise and flexion) and to shave the legs and use Bernadine on it. He’s going to try and look up other stuff.

    I’ll check with my sons and see if they know anything and I have the vet coming next Tuesday and will ask her. Also we had a new Brabant Filly born yesterday morning.

    All I know about that plow is that there were quite a lot of them in this area back in the day. I think you more of them around here today than any other brand. JMHO

    Will;
    I love my old Ford tractors but I personally don’t think they would be the best for a ground drive cart. To much extra baggage. If I remember right I think that Muleman Donn made his with a A-C wd, he uses three horses on it,I think. If you wanted a lighter one I would think that a A-C b, c or ca might work good.JMHO Also you were talking about a truck rear end. I have been tossing around the idea of a cart with a “two speed truck rear end”. Any feed back would be welcome…

    Looks like you could put a pole on it, grease it, and go…

    Nylon can also be different thicknesses also,as long as they aren’t really thin I would think they would be OK. I use conway buckles on nylon all the time,never gave it a thought and never had a problem. JMHO

    I live in Northern New York in a place that has some of the coldest temperatures around. My horses are outdoors 24/7/365 and have a pasture that is mostly woods for protection. In the 30 some years that I have been here I have had one horse catch a cold and that was in the summer. Just saying.

    After I sold my little ponies (got them back later on) I had a team of haflinger crosses about the size of yours. I think the haflinger forecart would be fine. I used mine on a full size cart as a team. JMHO

    P.S.- I would guess that it might be a little to much for one pony. JMHO

    I would guess that it depends on the build of the pony, the “draftier” the better. Also, I don’t know how hard that implement pulls. I had a team of ponies (12 hand pony mare and her 12 1/2 hand son by a Quarter Horse stud). I use to skid small to medium size logs with them, I just had to take it easy with the medium logs. Someone will jump in and tell you if it pulls easy enough.

    I looked on the internet and found them anywhere from $125.00 to $210.00. That being said, my son bought a very good one, used, at auction, for $90.00. He almost had it for $60.00, then someone else started bidding.
