Sorry for your loss. You and your wife are in my thoughts and prayers. So much we don’t yet understand.

She does almost all the work with our horses she even drove to pick up horse yesterday ( she has her temps) I hope she can somehow make a living out of what she loves, I believe she has a gift (I may be biased) with animals. Agreed it is good to see young people working with animals I see to many depending on mom or dad for everything. I tell my kids I will help with everything but won’t do anything. Eli

Check out Geo thermal heat if you put the water into a stream or pond it is much cheaper to install($13000). I have an old farm house and I love mine.I heated 100% with wood for 22 years . House, milking parlor and shop = 22 cord of wood. Now I burn 5 to heat my shop. I have a neighbor with a straw bale house interesting and cheap but I never got to really check it out. Good luck.

I was thinking was using nitrogen or co2 to pressurize a vessel full of oil hooked to a cylnder to raise it and then exhausting the gas to lower it down. If I didnt use oil it would build pressure then spring out of the ground just like an air cylnder. Eli

I was a dairy farmer for 20 years and we always struggled to pay high health insurance. If I could figure out the health insurance I would be self employed. Good luck

I had a husky 372 xp for years it was a good saw now I run Dolmar saws also a good saw it was more of a dealer thing. I thought husky and Johnsered were made by the same company as long as you buy the commercial saw it is the same as a Johnsered they have a chromoly piston and rev higher. I need a saw that is falling limb proof. Eli

I remember asking my father what they did with their horses when they got old, he said they didn’t throw away 1800 lbs of meat. My father always spoke highly of their horses and I believe he truly cared for them. The body goes but the spirit lives on. The spirit of his horses lived in every story He told me, just like his spirit lives in my story. I would rather be respected for how I lived than rembered for how I died. Eli

That’s cool I do service and refrigeration work all over northeast wi and know the area well. I checked out your web sight and like what your doing. I own 234 acres and dream of farming part of it with horses. I am in the process of training one of my curly horses to drive I hope to pull a sleigh with her this winter. Who knows maybe our paths will cross in Brussels on day. Eli
