I purchased a 1000′ to saw for my new equipment shed and almost fell over when I got the bill. I heard it was up to $350 here. And pulp price by the ton is way up too.

Do you need any help with the NOFA workshop? Please let me know if there is something we can do. Would you like a DAPNet presence there?

ParticipantSome Pictures of the Spring Wood Bee. Thanks to all the volunteers who participated. Especially those on the landing who cut, split and moved every stick of wood 4 teams of horses and 2 teams of steers could pull to them. We had a wonderful pot luck lunch and an opportunity to spend time with old friends and new. I had a great day and left the event with a very gratifying feeling.

ParticipantJim and I will be leaving Washington around 3:00. Be at the farm by 4:30 or so, set up the padock for Oz then dinner I would guess around 6:30 or 7:00. Cocktail hour could be anytime 😉

Here is the list of people to date that are planning to attend with animals.
Jay Fisher with horses, Brad Johnson with horses, Jen Judkins with horses, Ed Thayer with a single, Bay state Tom with a team of steers and Erika with her short horns.
Everyone is welcome to bring their chopping gear if they wish, We have a pretty good pile on the ground and ready to head to the farmhouse.
Any questions, give us a call. The weather forecast sounds awesome for Saturday.

Great photos. Glad thing are going well in NY. I like the potato digger idea. Things are wet here in NH finally, been in a terrible dry spell. Hope you have a good hay season, Are you still working Connie?

ParticipantI called Chuck Cox and he picked up his homesteader in PA in April. He is willing to demo it for us sometime in August. or early September. We are still working on a date to set up a workshop at his farm in Lee, NH.
I will keep you all posted.
