ParticipantGood Morning,
I am trying to get caught up after a long trip,
I would like to finalize a date for this event and give it a proper title so Comm- Comm can help promote it. Erika has been concerned as have I about being consistant with the title of an event so we may be consistent going forward. Do we have an official title list? Do we need to develop one i.e., workshop, clinic, training, gathering, Bee etc. and descriptions of each.
I would like to know if the proposed dates in the previous post conflict with anything on or off the calendar.

ParticipantOK, we did not get an extra call in this month regarding the teamster compensation and I am awaiting the solution to the conference call charges. Please be prepared to hash this out at the meeting on Tuesday so we can move on to other things. We may go over our 1 hr time as there is a lot to discuss. Reeva was going to send the event insurance info to you all as well so you could have a look at it.

ParticipantI just received this reply from Jay in Charlestown regarding a get together in May. We have the Plowing workshop scheduled for April and this would tae place after that in May. I think this would be low key, social type event and would require little planning compared to some other more intensive workshops. Do we want to get involved?

Hi Ed,
Sorry I don’t see these PM’s very easily. I’ll try to keep better track, as I just listed events at Longview which included the woodbee. I’d happily reschedule to accomodate a DAPnet meeting in May. I can host an event May 5, 12, or 19. The field will be open, and I’ve got about 8 cord of wood on the ground tree length about 2/10 mile from where it needs to end up. I’ll line up some volunteers on my end to run the woodsplitter and saws for bucking. We can move the trees any way we like- but I’m a bit short on equipment, only 1 cordwood sled and some wagons. We can drop more trees too if people are interested, there is a lot to work with.
Thanks for your help. This has meaning beyond DAPnet fun, but shows that people stillg et together to help their neighbors out.
Thanks again

ParticipantI like the first one also. I am partial to the single horse. Agree with Mark, the blinder and hame ball could use distinction.
Nice work,
Ed
