ParticipantWhat about a steel neckyoke?

ParticipantGrey, I hve one that likes to chew on the neck yoke also. I bought a bottle of chew stop spray from tractor supply. It must taste horibble because it worked right away. I have to reapply every once in a while, but it gets the job done.

ParticipantI also use the hip brithcen harnesses. Not only are they out of the poop region, they are also lighter.

ParticipantWe had renters from 2003 until 2009 that had an outfit that cut the slits in the ground in the fall and never worked the field. They never cultivated, they just sprayed everthing a lot of times thru out the summer. The soil was packed and stayed wet. The weed are really taking over. Never could get a straight answer on the yields. I was not inpressed. New renters for 2010.

ParticipantThe sure fire way to tell if they are well matched is to look down at the evener. If it is straight across then thay are well matched. Nothing else matters.

ParticipantI have one that is darn near worn out. When it works it does a good job. Whenever I try and use it something always breaks and parts are next to impossible to find.

ParticipantThe bed chain should be available. I have a 4A that uses the old S link chain. I was able to get a new one from Midway Repair in Ohio. Yours might be new enough the use the 67 chain.

ParticipantYes, there is some old crusty grease in there, but it was full of dirt and the old pawls were wore pretty bad.
