GMDHA Fall Meeting Update

Green Mountain Draft Horse Association’s Fall Meeting is at Carl Russell’s place. We will be working in the woods, Carl will have equipment we can use. Tree will be on the ground, so anyone who wants to bring animals can skid logs. There may be some saw work required, so those with chainsaw experience and personal protective equipment should bring them.

We will be using singles ground skidding, team and logging cart, and bobsled. Ready for early birds by 9am

Potluck will start at noon. Bring a chair. Meeting after lunch. Work in the woods will happen before and after lunch. Get there when you can.

From I-89 Exit #3 Bethel. Take Rte. 107 west into Bethel. At Jct. 107 & 12, go straight onto Rte. 12N through Bethel village. (Traveling east on 107, take a left onto 12N).Travel 4.2 miles on Rte. 12N to Gilead Brook Rd. (on left after a long bridge). Left onto Gilead Brook Rd., 2.5 miles to MacIntosh Hill Rd.. Take a right onto MacIntosh Hill Rd., then the first left onto School House Rd. We will be meeting there.

From I-89 Exit #4 Randolph Center. Right onto Rte. 66 west to Randolph. At Jct. 66 & 12, take Rte. 12S through village. Just south of the village is Tatro Hill Rd. on the right across from Justin Morgan Marketplace (Shaw’s). Take Tatro Hill, 4.5 miles, take a right onto School House Rd. We will be meeting there.
