ModeratorI was at Hubie Benoit’s in South Royalton, Vermont, yesterday to look at his horse-drawn equipment for sale.
– Un-used red-on-black, Nylon with leather faced britchen, D-ring Harnesses, in the $600 range. I just couldn’t see my horses wearing red…otherwise I’d have snagged them for sure.
– Brand new leather collars 23-24″, sweat pads, nice bridles, team and single lines.
– Barely used Pioneer Hitch Cart with school bus seat, and tractor seats, with pole, neck yoke, and eveners, forgot to ask, but I bet $500ish.
– Many years of collected neck yokes, eveners, and iron.
– Also saw disc harrows with seat and tongue truck, scoop without wheels, axles, plow bottoms, assorted old iron stuff that could be reconditioned or used for parts.
Lacking a credit line and the inclination, space, and marriage that would support buying and bringing all this home to resell, I will just let you all go see for yourselves..
