    Hi there

    Here are some pics of our stables. They consist of 6 foaling stables, 26 single stables, 2 stallion stables, a Quarantine stable, Horse Crush, Vets office, feed rooms and tack rooms. They arent used anymore though. Our farm used to be a race horse farm in the 60s and 70s so they left us with some pretty nice infrastructure even though one of the previous owners ripped out alot of stuff…

    Basically the same as a cattle crush, i.e. for administering injections etc. They also used to use ours for breeding…

    Do you any of you guys that use draft horses use these kind of stables or do you prefer tie stalls?

    I like tie stalls during the working season but I do have a desire for nice box stalls for wintertime and foaling. Beautiful setup there.

    The only thing I would prefer is the box stalls be seperated up to the ceiling (or at least 8 feet) to keep the horses from reaching over and fussing with one another as bad.
