Erik: I hear you… I’d like to see someone with better orginization skills than myself to put together a ‘lending library’ system, so that perhaps people could pitch in & buy books & we could send them around to each other by mail. Don’t know if it’d be too expensive in postage, but I like the idea -> often I canread a book, get the ideas from it & not pick it up again for a couple of years. I bet there’s a lot of books sitting on peoples’ shelves/attics/etc. that would give me just the solution or idea I might need. Shared resources & all that, you know? I know I’ll never pay $82 for a book, but $10 & the postage when my turn came up on the list…? Hhmmm… maybe we should start a new thread on this & see what others think?

Yes, square stock on edge. I’ve got some older tools that fit 2″ stock, and some newer ones with clamps designed for 2 1/4″ (I think) – though there is enough leeway in the clamps that they are interchangeable. For heavier duty applications, I’ve seen solid square stock used. And with the tractor, I’ve bent a hollow one, so in some instances it’s justified.
It’s a pretty standard market vegetable farm tractor-mounted cultivator platform, which means an assortment of tools available.
Robert: I will definately report on how it works when I finally put one together.

Robert, There is no translation of this book. As far as my information goes, if we want it translated we will have to do it ourselves. When we could get a group of people together to form a sub division of Prommata, they ight be willing to non financal aid as much as possible.
If you can’t figure what the drawings ean I can try to translate that part for you. Just send a mail.

I would be willing to collaborate to make an English translation of that book. I think Promatta is the source of some great ideas and I would like to help make them more widely known.
